ECDL, ICDL

One of the fasted growing qualifications in the world at present is the European Computer Driving License (ECDL, European version) and International Computer Driving License (ICDL, outside Europe version). The ECDL and ICDL are made of the same questions and cover the same syllabus.
The qualification is made up of seven modules: 1. Basic Concepts of I.T 2. Using the Computer and Managing Files 3. Word Processing 4. Spreadsheets 5. Database 6. PowerPoint 7. Information and Communication
The modules above are from beginner to intermediate levels. There are also four other advanced levels available:
1. Word Processing 2. Spreadsheets 3. Database 4. PowerPoint
The ECDL, ICDL raises the level of IT and computer skills and allows Candidates to be more productive at home and at work. ECDL, ICDL also improves job prospects by providing an internationally recognised qualification. With a superior Syllabus - uniquely validated to ensure that it is always relevant, up-to-date and meaningful - Candidates can be confident that the ECDL, ICDL offers a certification of unrivalled quality.
The ECDL, ICDL programme is for anyone who needs to demonstrate to an international standard that they are fully competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications and that they know the essential concepts of Information Technology. The qualification is available through the British Computer Society (BCS). There are thousands of test centers worldwide and the qualification is currently offered in 146 countries and has over six million candidates making it the largest end user qualification in the world.
