ICDL is split into 3 stand alone parts enabling you to gain an internationally recognised ICT qualification at a price you can afford.  ICDL is an internationally-recognized standard of competence for computer users.  ICDL in Asia Pacific ICDL is the world’s leading end user computer skills certification programme, it is an Internationally recognised computer skills qualification designed specifically for those who wish to gain a benchmark qualification in computing to enable them to develop their IT skills and enhance their career prospects.  The ICDL certification allows everyone to document their acquired knowledge and skills through a series of performance-based tests.

Each module takes you step-by-step through the learning process using meaningful examples, and contains practice tests to reinforce the skills you have learned.  ECDL and ICDL Training courses will help you thoroughly prepare for your ECDL exams and all are ECDL Foundation Approved. Currently available is the syllabus linking in to ECDL and ICDL Microsoft Office 2003 Training.  Successfully complete the seven, 45-minute ICDL test modules in any order within three years from the start date will give you ICDL accreditation.  More than 1 million tests are delivered every year from some training providers. In practice the ICDL certificate indicates that the holder has passed one theoretical and six practice-based tests which assesses the holder s competence in using a personal computer and working with common computer applications, and also their knowledge in IT.  Because the Syllabus is updated periodically, the official version of the ICDL Syllabus is published in the Syllabus section of the ECDL Foundation Website.
